In
the case of business accounts, this should always be done by a qualified
accountant (Assessor). A good Assessor can be well worth the fees as he
will ensure maximum tax relief, handle all of your IVA (VAT) returns and
staff contracts. Returns are made every 3 months in the case of IVA and
you should have a tax profit and loss account each quarter too. The end of
the year tax declaration will also be done for you. Tax returns must be
made each year between 1st May and 30th June. A good assessor will need
your receipts

for
sales and purchases each month and will do the rest. It is very important
to find a good Assessor and he will be responsible for all of your tax
affairs and is able to save you his fee over the year. Even make sure that
you have a receipt from him too with, as in all cases, his official IVA
(VAT) Number. Be careful in your selection, as fees can vary a great deal.
Ask, if you intend to have employees, if the cost of preparing the Nominas
is included. (Monthly salary and contracts). |
Contract
law is very different here and it can cost you dearly if you experience
staff problems. |
